#密涅瓦大學(Minerva University)為WURI 2022於世界最創新排行榜(Global Top 100 Innovative Universities)與業界應用(Top 50 - Industrial Application)排行榜之全球雙冠王。決策科學分析研究所Geneva Stein所長於4/20下午蒞臨葳格國際學校北屯校區圖書館，為學子開辦學習的策略與管理講座。
在本場講座中，Stein所長分享了 #Minerva University的特色，並說明了申請期程與方式，與哪些學生是最適合Minerva大學的。在高度互動性的學習工作坊中，Professor Stein設計了多元的學習活動，讓學子可以親身體驗神經元形成記憶的過程，並透過常見學習方法的分享，讓學子知悉哪些最常見的六種學習策略哪些其實是極度低效的。Professor Stein並鼓勵學子在課程之後應該立即檢視自己的學習習慣，並透過早期改善學習習慣，為終身帶來獲益。
本次Minerva University台中相關活動與講座皆由葳格國際學校主辦，並感謝 #台中市立東山高中與 #新民高中連袂參與。三校選取了國中至高中有意願的優秀學子參與本場講座。講座後Professor Stein非常照顧本場講座的學生，一一針對所有學生有問題的區塊進行釋疑，葳格國際學校對於所長所提供學生一對一諮詢的寶貴機會與經驗，表達深厚感激，也從學子閃耀的眼神中，看見了學習的亮光與希望。
Minerva University has been crowned the global champion in both the World's Top 100 Innovative Universities and Top 50 Industrial Applications rankings in the 2022 WURI rankings. On the afternoon of April 20th, Geneva Stein, the Head Instructor of the Graduate School of the Science of Decision Analysis, visited the Beitun campus library of Wagor International School to give a lecture on learning strategies and management for the students.
In this lecture, Professor Stein shared the features of Minerva University, explained the application process and methods, and discussed which students are the most suitable for Minerva University. In the highly interactive learning workshop, Professor Stein designed various learning activities, allowing students to experience firsthand the process of neurons forming memories. By sharing common learning methods, students were made aware of the six most common learning strategies and which ones are extremely inefficient. Professor Stein encouraged students to review their learning habits immediately after the course and make early improvements for lifelong benefits.
The event was hosted by Wagor International School and were supported by Taichung Municipal Dongshan High School and Shinmin High School. The three schools selected outstanding students from junior high to senior high who were interested in participating in the lecture. After the lecture, Professor Stein took great care of the students, answering questions and addressing concerns for each student. Wagor International School expressed deep gratitude for the valuable one-on-one consultation opportunities and experiences provided by the professor, and from the students' shining eyes, they saw the light of learning and hope.
